School-Age Teachers Are Friendly Multi-Age Experts

School-Age Teachers Are Friendly Multi-Age Experts

Enthusiastic teachers greet children when they arrive from school via bus, and maintain that energy throughout the afternoon. They guide your child through rough spots and triumphs alike, and maintain a trusted presence through their elementary school years.

Reinforcing Social-Emotional Skills Among Multi-Age Friendships

An afterschool program is a perfect place to put social-emotional learning into action! Older children help younger ones with shoes and snacks and lead by example. Younger children then look up to the older ones, copying positive behavior and actions.

The focus of each of our programs is to enrich the lives of our families. Each classroom focuses on the natural development of each individual child, while keeping their health and safety as our number one priority. For each classroom, we offer extended hours, healthy meals and snacks, outings, activities, a planned curriculum, and a consistent learning environment.

Infants – The classroom color for our infant room is blue, symbolizing trust, communication, and calmness. Our nurturing caregivers are handpicked for their natural ability to care for young infants and their passion for this age group. Our primary focus in the BBC nursery is to provide love, trust, and attention (cuddle time). We understand that every baby has their own unique schedule, and our experienced staff is trained to respond to these needs quickly and efficiently. We also understand that the transition from being a totally dependent newborn to becoming an active and responsive infant happens very quickly. We provide educational toys & activities to help stimulate the natural developmental process of a growing baby.

One-Year-Old – The classroom color for our one-year-old room is orange, symbolizing adventure and youthfulness. Our one-year-old classroom offers activities that will cater to this exploring age group. BBC caregivers will provide an equal balance of individual attention and group experiences to drive learning. Our toddler classrooms will promote cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and language development with a milestone-based curriculum. We give our toddlers plenty of opportunities to investigate, explore, and play in a safe, secure, yet stimulating environment. We work on developing each child’s skills, such as walking, responding to their name, drinking from a cup, eating from a spoon, and holding writing utensils.

Two-Year-Old – The classroom color for our two-year-olds is yellow, symbolizing happiness, intellect, and energy. There’s nothing terrible about Twos – they’re just beginning to test their independence. Our experienced caregivers are trained to be attentive to each child’s individual needs. Preparation for Preschool starts in our two-year-old classroom. We work on skills such as following instructions, writing and spelling their name, conflict resolution, patience, sharing, and recognizing shapes, colors, and patterns.

Three-Year-Old – The classroom color for our three-year-olds is green, symbolizing nature, growth, and harmony. This classroom helps develop writing, grammar, and social skills, preparing them for the classroom. Chatting with friends and working within small groups increases their verbal and social skills, while solving shape puzzles will strengthen their problem-solving skills. We also nurture each child’s creativity with drawing and painting activities. Our focus at this age group includes developing safety skills such as learning how to cross the street and talking to strangers. Finally, we focus on developing skills such as working with buttons, zippers, tying their shoes, and hygiene.

Pre-K – The classroom color for our preschool room is purple, symbolizing stability, ambition, independence, and power. The curriculum in our Preschool classroom is designed to build upon each child’s literacy and cognitive skill sets. We continue to focus on problem-solving, responsive listening, language usage, and social skills in preparation for a Kindergarten classroom environment. Lessons are also designed to stimulate imagination and creativity. We continue to work on counting, letters, and number recognition. This age group will also participate in plenty of outdoor playground time to develop climbing, sliding, and jumping motor skills.

In addition to our regular program activities, we offer structured extracurricular activities such as martial arts, tumble time gymnastic classes, field trips to local museums, the zoo, etc., and other positive experiences and activities that enrich the lives of the children that many of our families are unable to afford for their child(ren).

Diligent teachers routinely clean and sanitize all tools, toys, and high-touch surfaces throughout the day, while air purifiers in every classroom keep your child’s lungs healthy.
Absolutely! Take advantage of a convenient parent lounge/coffee bar at drop off and pick up, onsite parking, diapers and wipes, onsite therapies, a convenient parent app, engaging enrichments, field trips, and healthy meals and snacks—all included in your child’s tuition.

Love Bright Beginnings and their whole staff. It was a huge relief to have someone we could count on to watch our children while we were both working. My girls learned a lot during their time at Bright Beginnings and almost a year later, my 3yo still talks about going to daycare to play with her friends.

We’ve been going to Bright Beginnings for over a year now and all the staff have been kind, informative, and professional to me and my family. The owner is kind, loving, and I can see the passion she has for her business, the staff, and especially the children she has under her care. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Bright Beginnings is fantastic. It was my son's first daycare experience and Ramal and her staff took amazing care of him. I was constantly surprised when he'd bring up things he learned at school that I hadn't introduced to him yet. I would definitely recommend it.
